High Calorie meals with rice

I am looking for some higher calorie rice meals with meat.

Any slow cooker recipes?
Anything you put on rice to make it easier to eat.


I train for powerlifting and nothing has been tasting good.

I like rice as my body feels great when its the main carb source.
 
Are you restricted by the amount of fat you're eating per day?
You can always put a little kerrygold butter on it or cook up Thai stir fry with some peanut butter added in to the rice/meat/veggies. Maybe "fry" the rice up in a pan with macadamia or olive oil?
 
for me, in order to push calories for long durations i have to keep my fat sources really clean. I use mostly healthy oils for adding fat to meals and dr stubbs sugar free bbq sauces or cooking meat in a dr stubbs sugar free marinades are great for flavoring.
 
Dude, countless options, but my main way of eating rice is just stir fry my meat and vegetables in enough coconut oil to keep it from sticking, then add cooked rice to the pan, soy sauce and toss around until it's done to your liking. Thai style peanut sauce like Pheedno said. Avocado, vegetables, fruit, lentils, fruit preserves, you name it. Rice is probably the most versatile food there is. Cream of rice is good, too and same goes for that.

You can cut the amount of rice you eat tremendously by adding 3oz of jelly replace a cup of rice.
I've used it to carb load bunches of times ,it's sweet , not a ton of volume for the calories it's provide , goes down really easy and doesn't blunt insulin response like adding fats
 
Eggs and ground meat with some sesame seed oil and soy sauce. You can even add some peas.
 
What KIND of rice are you eating? Makes a huge difference. Jasmine rice that is designated “thai hom mali” is to me, the most delicious rice there is. I cant even choke down reg white rice anymore, doesnt even compare.
