HITT VS LISS

If I am training hard I do liss, I can get away with hitt once a week and I usually take the day off after that. Anymore than that I just burn myself out mentally. Its more mentally taxing than legs but I been just taking around 500mgs/week 300test/200npp

Nothing special really 30min alternating every min. I just get more spaced out after doing it and I am trying not to lift as much so after hitt and legs I take the next day off. As they are the most taxing. Lately i still been doing cardio on days off but just walk around my neighborhood and one lap is 1.1 miles and either way you go its a big hill down and then one up. So I'll do 2 or 3 laps at least after legs to get some blood in them.

Around mid lap 2 my buddy shows up in a cargo van and I jump in the back and I get a bag of my own frozen blood some, saline and E.P.0. so I can power through the rest. My buddy Lance Armstrong turned me onto it.....lol jk
 
Good points by you both. I've did it before on the rower machine, assault bike, and spin bike. Favorite has to be running up a hill then walking back down or just sprints outside

After the leg day I won't do anything besides stretching.

If there is a time to take a break from cardio on a diet, it will be the day after leg training.
 
How do you do Hitt on leg day or the next day after?

If your trying to maximize recovery during the week, you need to consolidate stressors.

Well, for example….Monday was squat 4x5, 3x8 RDLs, 100m lunges SS with zercher marches x 4 rounds.

Tuesday morning did 6 800m repeats 1:2 work/rest

I don't think he is training for maximum leg size
 
My HIIT is typically long ass squat sessions twice a week 😂. I peg my heart rate in the red at the end of each set lol.
I did slow and controlled Smith machine squats this morning and was breathing like I ran a marathon..LOL
