MOst pills are meant to be swallowed unless other wise directed to. Prolonged viagra use has been linked with cardio problems and temp color blindness. Cialis give you some nasty headaches and upset stomaches. For most, but not for all people.

If your pecker works fine, then thank the good Lord. Taking Viagra or Cialis should be for serious ED patients. Not for the recreational use it has now been used for. And as such more doctors are seeing more folks coming in the hospitals with more complications because they are using it as a "rec drug". (just my .02)
