How bad do you think our economy has hurt bodybuilders?

Personally I think it's fucking bodybuilding royally. The past few years I've noticed far less competitors, and far less crowd. Also, seems like the guys are primarily middles, and light heavy. Not too many heavy's or super heavy's anymore, maybe its because it cost so damn much sometimes. Anyways, I'll always find a way to make gains, but its def getting harder thats for sure

sheesh

No kidding, I remember when drugs were expensive and FOOD was cheap. Tack on the government witch hunt and the price of a gallon of gas and it's an expensive proposition.

i've decided to move down to welterweight. it is much more fuel efficient.

its not the economy, just that most people could give 2 shits about bodybuilding and the numbers that do care are getting smaller.

Yes it's he economy, because I love bodybuilding. And don't have the money to do as much as I would like. (less money for food, less money for going to regional shows to watch, less money for supplements, etc.) Not doing some of those things keep less money out of the sport of bodybuilding. It's a chain reaction when hundreds of thousands of people are having to do the same thing.
