How far do you drive for a gym and why

I drive about 40-45 minutes each way because I got banned from the gym my wife manages. LOL All because I called a guy out on his BS and lies.

I have one gym 5 minutes away that I go to alone and another, much nicer one 20 minutes away that I take the girlfriend to.

75 miles one way.........................However, I work down the street from it.

If the matting/flooring is expensive, replacing them can be costly.
Don't buy ruining the foundation bit, the manager gave you.
I do agree a lot of the time they just don't want big intimidating people in there.

I forgot to mention that the plates were rubber coated and the floor was all that hard rubber composite so it was total bs, they also had a speed bag and that got taken down due to being loud.

I go to 2 different Gold's Gyms -- one is 7 min from my apartment by bicycle and the other 14 min. Why? They are the best in the area for lifting! Membership rate is a ripoff though ($120/month!!!)

$120 per month each???

My gym is a 15 minute drive...and a 45 minute walk home when I locked my keys and cell phone in my car.

just to let you guys know, im moving out of the Southern California area so i thought id drive to Venice Beach and get a workout at the Mecca Golds Gym in

It was badass, very packed. Saw Hideshi leaving the gym. Also saw Ben Pac-Man doing some offseason shoulders and arms. Guy is a moooonster. Biggest calves i have ever seen in my life. Also saw Mike O'Hearn in there doin chest.

It was awesome to finally get a chance to workout there, it was also an ego boost too. Right now i am training for my first show in about 6-7 months and i wasnt sure if i really HAD it or HAD the phyique i really wanted to to compete.
i must say, i outmuscled and outsized 85% of the guys there other then the actual PRO's. Some guys walked up to me asking me if i was going to be working the booth for Bodybuilding.com because i was wearing a shirt by them
btw, im 23 and right now 6'0 273 lbs in my offseason


It was an awesome experience. If you live within an hour or 2 of there i seriously suggest you get over there just to take in the atmospher!

15 minute drive 1 way for me,any longer than that i would be working out at the house,i drive enough back and forth to work.
