goddamn that's a terrible thing. i remember that magazine cover he did for ironman. and the article. i always thought he had a much more pleasing look because he was almost achievable.

jesus, 45 is only a few more years away for me. that is a scary thing to have happen out of the blue. i wonder if there was a pre-existing condition or something?

...45 is very young. But it happens to even younger men. It's always a sad thing to hear about, especially when there's family they leave behind.

I unfortunately was there when it happend he was working out one minute and gone the next. He was liked by everyone and a nice guy.

Like what happened to me about 2 years ago. I had a blood clot while doing Squats and had a massive heart attack. I somehow survived, but now I have a defibrillator and my heart is working at about 1/3 or normal. Guess I got lucky.

If anyone hears more about what the cause of the heart attack was I would really like to know. It sounds like a clot to me. I was only 38 yrs old when I had mine. I was feeling great before I did my squats and then after the third set I felt like crap, after the clot formed.

there really isnt much you can do about it. You have no warning signs. My heart had no clogged arteries. All I had was that giant clot. One minute youre fine, the next youre almost dead.

Maldorf and I have been warning you guys. I hope this gives more reason for you lot to take us serious. We are both barely here thanks to Heart Attacks, at ages 38 and 39. You cannot run anabolics safely with out prerequisite and ongoing blood work during cycles. If you don't want to spend the money, don't be too surprised to find yourself in an ambulance ride wishing you had took seriously the threats.
