Hey Guys,
So there is an IGF kit that comes with IGFin lyphosized powder form, 2 ml of Acetic acid and 10 ml of NaCl Solution. What is the way to mix all these 3 ingredients for proper stability.
Will mixing Nacl with the acetic acid into the powder vial destabilize the solution if kept together over a month period or so? And is NaCl solution even necessary?
THanks
mixing the Nacl and AA all at once and the into the vial is not the way to go because igf begins to degrade rapidly when it comes into contact with water(Nacl being basic saline solution).it is stable in BA as it was original mixed with then people found AA whould also keep it stable as well.the Nacl is used to flush the syringe or basically to make sure all the igf is injected through the syringe and nothing is left in the syringe needle head.
