So I had my first session with the physical therapist yesterday for impingement syndrome in my left shoulder..
She asked me if I had noticed any residual bleeding and I said no, but after thinking about it all day yesterday, I do remember having some dark red/purplish spots around the shoulder after I first injured it. (5 weeks ago)
I wrote it off, I looked at it and thought if its still there tomorrow then Ill worry. Well it was gone and out of sight out of mind right?
As I do more research I am finding my symptoms are in line with those of a SLAP Tear in the shoulder and is commonly misdiagnosed.
Anyone been through this before? Is physical therapy going to get me back to 100% or if I do have a SLAP tear am I going to have to have surgery?
