I haven,t heard of the keto diet until recently. what can you guys or girls tell me about it?

I guess I've been in the dark.:)
 
if you really wanna be in ketosis its no carbs , low protien and high fat but most people call low carb diets keto diets but technically thats wrong.
 
It's good for the obese, not so great for a bber. I have personally seen my friend use the keto diet and follow it to a tee and lose a lot of fat and a lot of muscle at the same time. His strength also went down the shitter. Low carb diet is 100x better IMO.
 
I have never dieted for show. But, low protien and high fat. Wouldn,t that make you lose your mass. Or are you just screwing with me. I wouldn't want to lose the muscle I worked hard for.
 
bro do a search about the diet...there are a million threads on here about it...Or you could just pay a trainer about teaching the diet to you...

in a standard ketogenic diet, the diet is based on high protein, low fat and zero carbs. The higher fats people talk about are the adaptations of the original diet, but basically an SKD or standard ketogenic diet has only essential fatty acids as the fats, just enough. I do have lyle's book in my downstairs toilet, so if you need any info I'll gladly help you out.

Through experience I add efa in decent amounts while following a keto style diet, and add supplemented fiber as much as possible
