Knees killing me during workout.

Mines the shoulders. Can't get hands back to hold the bar for squats hurts bad. I stick to hip sled, hack, lunges, etc
 
What brand?
Doctors best with chondroitin is the one I picked, not sure if it matters.

Had very minor knee discomfort after legs yesterday. Basically none today, I did swap to leg press only yesterday as well.

Full disclosure I have had terrible knee pain, tendonitis in both knees, and possible pes anserine bursitis in one knee for 1.5 years. I managed to beat the tendonitis with leg extension isometrics recently. I was left with general knee pain. Think knee hurting when extending leg without weights and sitting/standing or going down stairs.

Since taking hyaluronic acid everyday ( I'm doing 2 pills twice a day) I've definitely felt an improvement. That general/front knee pain is what has drastically improved in the last week. Maybe it's coincidental and something else I'm doing is working. So far it seems it was well worth $30.

The pes anserine bursitis seems to still be there though if anyone has ever dealt with that and has any advice it would be appreciated.
 
Bpc-157 has done miracles for me. 250 mcg 2 x day s.c. as near as possible where you feel pain.
 
I've belt squats since this post. It helps a lot bc I can move around a bit more to find a comfortable range of motion. Knees still hurt but I am able to negate some for sure. I have good quad days and bad. I am adjusting my exercises more and more.
-leg extension
-leg press
-belt squat
-lunge's
If I'm having a good day, I'll squat but keep the weight light and place at end of workout

So your knees hurt all the time or just when working out? Arthritis is either caused by inflammation or bone on bone contact.

So if its inflammation clean up your diet, take curcumin, fish oils etc.

If it's bone on bone it's probably some type of muscle imbalance. Like 5 other people have said look up KNEES OVER TOES GUY. Seriously.

Also, I warm up my knees with hamstring curls every time I do legs per John Meadows. HUGE help. Look at his article below.

 
imo anytime i feel pain in something I immediately lay off, pain is a sign to stop. You need to rest it, and/or change up the physiology of the lifts you doing, do diff lifts etc, or it will just get worse
