Lab Test Results

Hey guys,

Got my test levels back today. Can someone tell me how out of range these really are? My doctor seems to be blowing it more out of proportion than it really is. Or is he? Thanks for the help!!

I hate it when they dont give the actual number

That sux they dont give you the real #. 1500 must be the max they test for. I was once on 400mg TestE and 400mg prop and used directlabs and it came back at like 2200.

NOPE!! Was a little dissapointed that they didn't provide me with the actual number. The original lab that it wasn't sent to wasn't calibrated to test above 1000.... Sooo they sent it off to LabCorp to do some further testing and this is what I got back. You would think if you were a MAJOR lab, your equipment would be able to measure high test levels. GRRRR

First off let me explain that Im not a Dr. but I have experience with this from working at a Rejuvenation Clinic. Your levels are obviously above normal, but right on par for someone on the regimine that you're on. It's a shame that the results say "Out of Range" as opposed to pinpointing your exact levels. What company did you get your BW done with? We used Labcorp..The avg levels of patients before HRT ranged from 150-450 (Serum). We typically only tested Testosterone Serum and only rarely tested Free Testosterone levels. As a reference point, pt BW on HRT usually came back around 800-1200 IF they were using medication as prescribed. Highest I ever saw was 3600 You could use your imagination with what he was dosing!!

LabCorp is who they sent it to. Maybe i should reply back and ask if I can have a more accurate review of the test?

the last time i had blood work done it was through Lab Corp. I also was on @500mgs of test and @600mgs of eq. The results also came back just like yours. 1500....out of range....

The Doc said that my test levels were off the charts. I also wanted a specific number.

Not sure what the purpose is of having a test like this run when youre on such a high dose. My level is over 800 and im taking 120mg/wk. I guess its a good way to test and see if your vial is the real deal and not bunk.

Why would you want this documented? You're on well over a gm per week. I can understand wanting (needing) blood work, but why Test levels. Now your medical records are going to say DVD watcher. Or sumthin like that.

It's worth a shot man. I'm telling you we did thousands of bloodworks with Labcorp and they always came back with precise levels. No < > garbage. Did they even test CBC, Hematocrit, Hemoglobin, etc? If not, as someone already noted, it is a pointless test with someone in your situation unless you wanted to confirm it was real stuff. Call Labcorp and see what they say. They will probably tell you they need the Dr. to request it but I don't see why they couldn't further evaluate or re-test the sample they already have.
