|---[\\\\\]>---------- i dont even know why i even watch this stupid ass show, or any show on mtv as a matter of fact, but i have no life so i find myself watching shows like Laguana Beach every night. These kids are pethetic and no sense of friendship or loyalty. i know they are in high school, but all of them talk shit about each other behind each others backs no matter how 'tight' they are with each other....and if i hear them say 'like' or 'dude' at the beggining of each sentance again, i will kill myself!

gotta agree with kawasaki on this one but my wife watches all that stuff. i do however find my self watchin iron chef america on the FOOD channel and gettin hungrier than hell at 2 in the morning.

dude, Laguna Beach is not real. They are actors paid to do this show, it is all adlibbed (sp?). I agree though, MTV is trash. We have an LCD TV in our bathroom, yesterday morning my wife was watching E! on MTV while getting ready for the day, I walked in to grab something and saw an ad for True Life: Im a Staten Island Girl, all bout these stuck up bitches. They glamorize this behavior, its unreal. That Sweet Sixteen show about the stuck up kids and their sweet 16 bday parties made me sick. MTV is a sad commentary on the youth of our country.

Bro, they are not actors, but you are kinda right...it is not real...they manipulate what they say in a sense and then cut and edit on top of that...I thought the very first episode of the first season was fake but then I met one of the girls that went to the school through my now ex and it is just how they are...trust me I went to school in San Diego and my girl was a rich bitch that went to La Jolla High...many girls from there have been on that sweet 16 show and that is just how they all are in HS...It is so gay but my new girl watches the show so I am forced to drink LOL

One comment though... The girls on the first season of Laguna Beach made the show worth watching - with the VOLUME OFF!
