Are the carbs in the LBA's good enoff for when i take my slin? Im used to mixing the carbs and protein together. The LBA's have everything in one. Was hoping the carbs/sugar alcohol from the Glycerine would be just was good . Makes things a whole lot easier.
 
I'm by no means an expert on the use of slin, but I don't think that the carbs in LBAs are adequate. It is my understanding that glycerol, though technically a carbohydrate, has no effect on blood glucose and therefore would not work for this purpose.
 
NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dont do it.... glycerine is converted into glucose in the liver... takes too long and blood glucose would drop and you will go into hypoglycemic shock and then into a coma.... you want to use glucose or dextrose with slin... always... and always use a glucometer.... btw lbas are great with slin.

Why not (following what YOU said) just eat 20min before pinning?
 
Still don't really understand if you know the "onset" of log (or whatever you use), then why not eat first and give it a moment to hit the blood.

I'll use a bonfire as an example.
1. Uses a pile of wood, then adds gas, then throws a piece of burning wood onto the pile from a safe distance.

2. Uses a pile of wood, then starts fire, then adds gas (which can run back up their body... not safer).

I'd rather use 1, personally. If there's a major benefit from pinning then eating please lmk. But since the goal is to have protein/glucose in the blood when the log hits, what's the difference.

Maybe I don't understand it. If I have something wrong here, then please lmk. Again, this is just a discussion. I'm trying to figure things out exactly like everyone else.
 
my take...

why use fast acting?
a slow steady stream of nutrients shuttled to the muscles works great and less likely to go hypo and less likely to gain fat IMO and IME (in my experience)

Man, I loved it! The fat loss, hardness, vascularity, and strength gains were....well....I never hit a plateau. That Phil guy knows his shit.
 
Insulin is the most anabolic substance in your body.. Not only will it shuttle nutrientsinto your body but it will also release free test to a degree.. My boy NESS knows his shit LBA's and slin have their place. Learn to use them and reap the rewards..
 
Stay lean, add muscle:

Slin+GH+LBAs+Test+ideal internal environmental administration timing = the standard building blocks
EFAs and or food and how much = individual, per results desired.

the statement above shows you have no idea how insulin works...

slin doesnt provide a slow steady stream of nutrients.... it peaks and troughs... smart people who use insulin as an anabolic know its a good idea to have glucose at hand when it peaks in the blood.

i know my shit very well. MANY guys (Pros included and trainers here) recommend slow acting insulin. fast acting may allow you to get one meal in and maybe a shake? slow acting allows four or more meals. logic suggests more meals while slin is active would mean more nutrient transport. but what do i know...
and like NESS said, slin+gh+test+ PROPER macro diet (including LBAs) = bigger and leaner....
i always have/had best results with humilinR not log.

but maybe your bigger than me, maybe your older and more experienced than me maybe you learned from and been around more pros than me maybe you have done as well as i have in shows.... but i doubt all of that.
I'm not a trainer so ask Phil he seems to be a freak and a bit smarter than me. i just know what works for me.

Hes some wanna be med-student hot shot who has a handful of classes under his belt and now thinks he is Mr.MD. He jumps from one routine to the next, too confused to know anything outside of what a textbook says. Pay no attention to his name calling, and anger issues. He's obviously got a shitty disposition in life...I feel bad for him...he needs help...comfort....he needs mommy.

WRONG....Again. Slin administered with a certain amino acid, in short, leads to fat loss. Thats just one way to do it.

BCD. You're wrong. Slin doesn't just put fat on. Its makes nutrients move out of the blood into cells. Don't add fat in the blood, and guess what.....

No fat in the cells!!!
