If anyone is metal, it's ozzy. Black sabbath invented the damn thing. Is he speed metal, thrash metal, black metal, doom metal, nu-metal, or hell, viking metal, no not really.

Black sabbath fell into what you might call 'metal'. Dont get me wrong, im a fan, but they didnt start out as a heavy band.

definately Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Old Slayer, Old Metallica, Malevalant Creation, Bloodbath, Old Kreator, Vio-Lence, Lamb Of God.. etc..

an old thrash band from texas called Rigor Mortis... classic stuff..
