Actually yes. 100mg/week, nothing else. I got super lean going into surgery too, I was petrified of turning into a lard ball during recovery lol

Surgery in a couple days

Got my pre-surgery echocardiogram

EF is 55%

So at least my heart is doing well

Guess that means I gotta up the dose

That’s at the low end of the normal range. Do your docs know why it’s not up higher around 65-70?

Sorry not trying to pile on as it’s still normal, so is good. I’m just overly cautious with the heart stuff.

well i dont do any cardio at all

but i am going to start in order to get my crit/lipids numbers better

depends how the EF was calculated 55% is pretty okay.
for some calculations it say 55-70%, for others it is 50-65%.

Don’t stress on it at all man. You’ll be recovered before you know it and back to slingin some heavy ass weights. Recovery time frames always seem so long when looking at it going in but you realize it was just a blip after all is said and done.

Yep, this. I had full-on open liver surgery and still bounced back super quick.

surgery is over

Started as laparoscopic, but ended as open surgery.

Apparently I had two adenoma and one was very deep in my liver

Anyways, they didn’t do the full chevron incision apparently, just one under my rib on one ride

The resident said that it shouldn’t affect the function/activation of my abs though, but I won’t be able to do sit-ups for a while

So instead of one night in the hospital, it’s going to be multiple

And several weeks of recovery before I can lift again

Been there brother. Rest up and think about the important things you want to accomplish and when you’re ready, get it done. You will bounce back, I was better than ever within 2 years. The first year comeback was amazing by itself. You’re in a much better spot because you caught it early so I see much quicker recovery for you. Just be smart about things going forward.
