In my opinion . . .
The detrimental effects of statins are absolutely nothing short of inconsequential when compared
and contrasted to what so called bodybuilders ingest and or inject into their bodies. This forum is littered
with questions (and few concrete answers except ‘backoff’) and concerns about the unwanted and real
side effects of AS, GH, insulin, etc., . . .
Unlike what I mentioned above (AS, GH, insulin, etc.) statins are one of the most studied (real studies,
not anecdotal) pharmaceuticals in the history of mankind. Clearly they work when nothing else does
and while they do get a bad rap, justified or not, think about what they doing to your body when
compared and contrasted to all the other UG products, other products you ‘take’ to counteract the
adverse side effects of what most are willing to modify their physique in the most unrealistic, dangerous,
unnecessary way possible.
You can find all the ‘studies’ you want to support the pros and cons of statins. So, do what you can with
diet and exercise but please keep in mind that once to add, throw in all the all the other stuff (again, see
above) you do, you are literally are in no-man’s land, uncharted waters and statins may be your only,
and in reality, may be your safest alternative if you chose to continue your current lifestyle, such as it is.
Just something to think about. Not trying to rain on anybody’s parade . . .
