Thanks for keeping us posted. We're pulling for you maldorf. You have our attention, concern, support and prayers.Feeling just ok now. Somewhat light headed much of the day. I think my EF is down and the doctor told me that could happen since I may need a dual chamber pacemaker now. Once I get one, my function should return to between 20% and 25%. Dont know if it is lower now, but sure feels like it. I dont feel great. No more ventricular tachycardia so far, and dont feel many pvcs. So thats great.
100%!Thanks for keeping us posted. We're pulling for you maldorf. You have our attention, concern, support and prayers.
Yep. I'm going on the treadmill tomorrow. Haven't exercised in about 3 weeks. I couldn't because my heart kept going into V tach. I'm a little scared because my heart is different now after the ablation. I used to know what to expect if things went wrong, but now it's new. Seems like I may not go into v tach, but maybe more likely to go right into v fib. I just don't know.Maldorf!
You will get better. As a person that has come back from many serious setbacks (5 bypasses 2005, major stroke 2016, Copd and a major stent 2020) The only answer is the gym! Make yourself stronger! What succeeds at fighting an illness, a strong body, or a week body? Stay away from dangerous stuff, but fight! My Cardiologist said I am a living breathing example of being strong.
Never give up!!!! Never surrender!!!!
You are not human. You are super human.

I'm cleared for exercise. I will do just treadmill for a week or two. Start out at a walk and low incline. I will decrease my usual speed quote a bit and wear a heart rate monitor. Wish me luck!

Going to use the heart rate monitor to help pace and play it very safe.Good luck. Take it slow like everyone says. I've always been impatient to get back to exercising too soon after a surgery. I haven't faced anything this serious, though. It's just hard to hold back and go slow when you're used to doing more.
