Mark Mcgwire and Andro6 by EAS

Now I don't care one way or another if he used,I wan't to clear that up first.I have always thought Mcgwire put that Andro6 by EAS bottle in his locker ,out in the open as a cover for gear use.Now at the time Andro was legal and not a banned substance in MLB.But one reporter made a big deal about the Andro and it snowballed eventually to all the steroid controversy.I think if he wouldn't of put the Andro bottle out it wouldn't of gotten to where it did.People would of suspected use but i really think it wouldn't of gotten to where we are today.

EAS claimed it caused more of an estrogenic effect than it did androgenic and actually did the opposite of what it was supposed to do, thats why they say they pulled it off the shelves and stopped producing it.

I think I remember hearing that.lucky they didn't get a class action paying for thousands of gyno surgery.

It did blow over pretty quickly. Then Jose Canseco wrote his book and it all came back and snowballed.
