If you like these guys, check out a Spanish Melodeath band named Eternal Storm. Start with the song "The Mountain."Omg doing cardio to this awesomeness wow
I am a SoCal punker who grew up listening to these bands in the early 80s. 2 of them in bold hail from nearby OC cities and still play today. Some other active and thriving punk bands are: Rise Against (chicago), Dropkick Murphys (boston), Rancid (bay area cali), Off with their Heads (minnesota), Bad Religion (los angeles), Hot Water Music (florida), Offspring (huntington beach oc) Face to Face (los angeles) and Social Distortion (orange county). But, there is some fresh stuff out there that doesn't get much play, and will appeal to a lot of people. here is one example:Christian Death
Subhumans
Reagan Youth
Killing Joke
TSOL
Misfits
Agent Orange
Joy Divisions
Ramones
The Smiths
Type O Negative
The Cramps
The Germs
Can’t really get into any modern or mainstream type music. I listen to the same stuff outside of the as I do while working out

When it comes to live performances, I'm not interested in watching someone press buttons....that's not live. I love SG and Down too. 90s guy here, as well. When it comes to the gym I've been into more hard electronic music. Here recently when I'm not working out, I'm typically listening to RATM, Taproot, Moby, Nero, Boys Noize, Disturbed, MurderFM, Radiohead, Ozy, Older Ministry, Pantera, older KMFDM, Prong, Life of Agony, old Korn, A Perfect Circle, Tool, DM, Prodigy, INXS, Dandy Warhols, Mudvayne, Pixies, older Deftones, AIC, older NIN, Janes Addiction, Orgy, older Foo Fighters, Helmet, Melvins, Nirvana, Old Pumpkins, The Cult, etc.i like rock music more, i like natural instruments, i like how people work 40 hrs a week to make the amps and drums and guitars etc.
and they sound amazing. i dont want to watch a live karaoke show, and some of those rappers karaoke over the tracks that already have vocals, its not much art
but i like the rap that is edgy.
'whoomp there it is' by tag team is awesome
im a 90s guy

that commercial with the family dancing making ice cream is awesome. thats tag team whoomp there it is.
