He was originally prescribed 1.25iu's per day of genotropin HGH. Through his endo. It was crazy expensive. $16per iu. So I got him hygetropins, and had him take the same dose, just a little higher. He's taking it at 1.35iu's and ever since he said his shoulder has been aching really bad. Waking him up in the middle of the night, hurting so bad. He also said his 2 knuckles on his right hand hurt as well. No wrist pain, just shoulder especially. His dr. said too much GH can cause this. Does this sound like the case? I woudlnt think hygetropins would be that much stronger than his prescribed GH would it. I told him to back it to 1iu per day. What do you suggest? This isnt dangerous for him right? He's 59yrs old.
BTW, this may not even be GH related. He said when he stopped the GH altogether for a week the pain was still there. His knuckles feel fine, but its his shoulder. I just talked to him and he says its just his right side delt. When he pushed really hard into it and presses against the bone, thats where the pain is really bad. So bad he can't lift weights. What do you think this could be? GH related, or something else? Also i've been using the same gh at 4iu's with no problems.
