I can't seem to find the Ganabol thread either? And on the topic of safe-mail, i was going to suggest to him - TO GET THE HELL OUT OF SAFE-MAIL!!! IT'S NOT SAFE! Please, any of you that still have a safe-mail account, delete everything in it and abandon it now!!!!

No, and I mean NO email system on the internet is safe. Your best bet is to exchange passwords with the source via another avenue and use WinRAR or WinZip with a 12 character password with control characters. A Cray isn't even breaking that one for a few years brute force.

Very true! another good option is self encrypted pgp mesages.

Well, that all depends upon your version of PGP. There is a US Government back door built in because of 9/11 in version 7.0 and above.

Lets not forget guys that any email like safemail,hush,etc... has a privacy act they have to follow. Now sure LE can step in just like they did with ORD, but by law they have to subpoena each email in court. So, with that being said, its not an easy task. Is safemail still safe? Well, if what your doing on there is big enough to get your account subpoena'd then i'd advise staying away but small stuff, they dont have the time to get subpoena's for 10,000+ accounts.

Great idea is to constantly switch up accounts and do it from different ip address's, b/c even if they are getting a subpoena for email account A, and you switch accounts, they then have to get a new one for email account B,etc........
