So whats up with the nice guys finishing last deal? I mean i have a lot of "lady friends" and im not what you would call ugly, (ive actually been approached to model but im too tall) but how come it is that all the women that sghow intrest in me that i am intersted in a week later are all of the sudden "friends" and that ones that dont get lumped into that catagory end up being complete mental cases? I honestly am not that guy out looking for sex either so its not anything like that.. For me sex is an easy thing its the compatable relationship or just the begining of one... Any advice guys? Or gals??

Nice guys don't finish last.....they're not even in the race. The wild one, the bad boy, and the jerk all present a challenge to women and are therefor more desirable. Nice guys are somebody to go shopping with but not good in thier eyes for a relationship. Sucks don't it. I've always been too nice for my own good but I like myself and I'm not gonna change. That's why we have hookers bro!! LOL

haha i hear ya man. i hooked up with this awesome chick and her ex-boyfriend was a complete ass to her. for the week that we hung out i did shit he prolly wouldnt do as a gentlemen. and of course after that week. she went back to him.

Ya, this all sounds too familiar... Ive tried the whole being a jerk thing and i just come off as being totally mean.. i like being nice and the girls that like nice guys are whack jobs for the most part.. Other than that i dont make enough money to be a nice guy for the others.. LOL..

Nice guys finish last; this applies to anything in life. If you're a nice guy, you tend to put others needs before yours. When it comes to sex and finding a mate, nice guys finish last.

Take a wolf, for example. In nature, where natural selection rules, only the meanest, most dominant, self centered alpha wolf ever gets the chance to breed. And when he does, do you think he has the female's pleasure in mind? Being the meanest wolf in the forest, he just wants to get his nut and thats it.

It's the same for humans, we still have those same instincts as the wolves hidden deep within our subconscious mind. A man who is assertive, selfish & stingy has a better shot at being a successful provider, even while being an asshole.

As a fellow nice guy, I used to want to change my personality to become more of a dickhead. It's hard to change your personality. I did become more assertive (which was when I started going to the gym and building my confidence, etc.) It's not easy, but you can make your nice guy personality work for you. Don't cahnge, and don't give up, there is a perfect woman out there for you, you just need to look in the right places, because not all women are looking for a beast.

Certain types of girl goes for the bad boy types, usually the good girl types (believe it), but definitely no normal girl goes for the asshole type. The few that do are the same girls that get into one failed relationship after another as they date asshole after asshole who abuse and treat them like shit. Who wants a girl like that???

When you are confident enough to go out and not appear the least bit needy... maybe even the opposite (or taken even). You'll get plenty more attention than some loud-mouth prick, trust me. "Boom I got your boyfriend, I got your man", "Don't you wish your girlfriend was a freak like me?" and similar songs gain popularity because women are competitive and nobody wants the guy (or girl for that matter) that is so obviously available to anyone who knows him/her that they could take them home in a second.

Nice guys finish last? No. DESPERATE guys finish last. And if you even seem the slightest bit available through your body language, even things you're not conscious of, hell, even your pupils, you will never get laid.

There are more social situations than bars or clubs. If you could go out a few times and just hang by yourself and don't even bother looking for girls, you'd probably meet someone "unexpectedly". It's no secret why there are sayings like, "Love finds you when you least expect it." On the nights when I truly (seriously) just want to be alone and have a few drinks BY MYSELF I don't get left alone! Hell, I've sat in a bar reading a Scientific American one night and I could not even finish the single article I was reading. The more I shooed them off, the more they bothered me.

Best way to find a girl is to NOT look. If you get my meaning.

Ya its funny that you say this because i honestly go out not looking for girls.. Im reallt tall and big and they honestly come to me.. I guess i just mess up after that and get into that "friend" mode with them.. 75% of the time when i do go out i end up meeting a girl and so forth but it just goes from them trying to and eventually kissing m and all that to lets be friends.. Who the hell knows..

Unfortunatley, alot of women want what they can't have and enjoy the games with associated with playing hard to get.........but I've learned that these women usually don't last.

I know this sounds contradictory to what you're saying, but my best relationships have been with the women I was just friends with first and was able develop a rapport and feel a sense of compatability.

From personal experience of being with the crappy guys, I think girls have to have a guy treat them like shit and crap on their hopes and dreams before they can truly appreciate a nice guy. i know I do now.

Thats good to hear.. i was raised by my grandparents and they taught me how to treat a woman and its sad to me that things are the way they are but its refreshing to read what you wrote..

I think that if a woman can't stand to be treated nicely then she is probably damaged goods. I am no push over, and i will stand my ground when need be. I just recently started seeing a very beautiful woman. She however tells me all the time how i'm to nice. We kinda hashed it out. I told her she was just used to dating assholes that treat her badly, and that i know how to treat a woman. I explained how it takes less time and mental energy to be nice to her and people in general, than it is to come up with ideas of how to be a dick. Its also fair to remind them that u can be a dick if u wanted to(cuzz i can). She kinda got it.....i think. If not then oh well. There are more fish in the sea.
