I just read the OP but,

I’ve been married for almost ten years. I was given an ultimatum too. I still see tons of other women I want to fuck, but as a man I made a choice and chose to marry my wife and we both put effort into growing our marriage. I make a conscious choice to be a husband every day. Seems like you’re afraid you’ll miss out on opportunities or options, but at a certain point, and this is with everything in life, you have to commit or don’t. If you’re in grief without her maybe that’s a sign. Also know marriage is the beginning, not the end

At some point you have to move on to new phases in life.

Can totally understand the feelings of missing out but the body won't stop aging and if you have the potential for a good life with this woman, take it. You'll be 50 sooner than you think and priorities for people change.

Guys (and girls) think when they're 50 and ready to settle down there's gonna be a great pool of options. There isn't, just a lot of people with a lot of baggage.

I'm happily married so I'm biased but there you go.

Also, as a guy who had his first child at 39 and second at 42, being young enough to to enjoy your kids and be active with them is a real thing. I will be 60 at my daughter's HS Graduation. Just a number, I know. But I already find myself skipping on things due to my age. At Christmas, I was excited to do some ice skating with the kids. It took me 45 seconds to realize that an unskilled ice skater should NOT be learning at 50 lol.

Getting divorced sucks. Mine was “easy” compared to most and still sucked. The only people who win are the attorneys.

My divorce is going on a year and a half now, and the attorneys involved are just playing mind games with us!!! Divorce fucking sucks! Especially when they’re assets to split and the attorneys see some money in it for themselves

Valuable advice. Very similar to what my dad and older folks tell me which is why I am giving this so much thought.

I think if you have to disclose something embarrassing then tell her upfront that you find it embarrassing and then explain your reasons.

If you have good reasons, a good woman will understand.
