not ready or ready for a show?

i am 8 weeks out of first show. natural,amatuer, masters. I feel i'm not ready. Going through divorce,chapter #7,etc.... Can't devote time to look my best. Good idea to bow out now, or should i push it? Chicago says hi to you all!

If you are asking these questions I think you need to take a pass on this one. wait untill things settle down & you can focus.

8wks is a long time in some ways. Don't give up yourself! You could look at the show as the best thing to focus on right now. In 8 wks you will know if your ready for the stage or not and there is no shame in admitting your not ready and passing at that time. Sounds like the show and training is the most positive thing you have right now and a great self sustaining goal. Keep your head up and believe in yourself and keep moving in the right direction. In 8 wks it will be clear to you what to do. Be strong!

if you can make it the next 8 weeks without your life situations stressing you out then i would do the show. stress is a bad thing for a bodybuilder so remember that, i agree that focusing on a show will take your mind off things maybe but then again the stress of things happening right now could also wreck your physique. this decision is up to you and YOU ALONE bro, we don't really know whats going on inside your head right now, youve got to sit down.. think long and hard.. and come to your own decision.
