O/T Anyone know Vegas's dress code?

After gaining 40lbs in the past 4months after a big bulker, I need some new clothes. Now, I know at most clubs you need dress shoes, and jeans are ok as long as they are dress jeans, but my ? is about the shirts. Whats the dress code for them? Do they have to be collared? I have lots of nice longsleeve and shortsleeve Lucky Brand,armani,etc... shirts, but not a lot of collared ones. Are they required? Thanks

Honestly Rob is right on the money. If you have good looking girls with you chances of getting into a club are pretty good. Some of the clubs are tough to get into and even a 50 or 100 tip to the door guy won't get you in. It all depends on the venue and what time of year it is.

Really, as long as you're dressed fasionable and willing to shell out coin to tip door man you'll be just fine. With a group like that you should just get a table. With a table you'll have to go with bottle service which is usually a 2 bottle min. and it may cost you a total of a grand or so but that should include cover for 10 or so if you bargain and tip well. Better than waiting in line...

I live in Vegas and can tell you it all depends what night, whats going on, and where. Some nights Tryst will let you in with a designer hat and a sleeveless shirt other nights no way. Unless you are a somebody or are going to throw cash down like you r one. R u doing after hrs? Also a party your size will want some representation so you get a decent table close to the action. How much fun is it when your stuck in the back at one of those outside the box but looking in tables, lol. Just to play it safe, all the bros's should wear a dress shirt. If your truly yoked your build will still stand out. I know so many guys that got to wear the kid brothers xtra small t-shirt cause they want to look thick instead they look as smart as a box of rocks. Style should always come first when your out and about esp at a high end venue. There is no dress code in vegas other than keeping your shirt on in the clubs other than that you can dress as casual as you want.....

I have freinds in the entertainment industry and they have gotten so use to easy money that they just expect it. No more hustling for you or working the club to get you bottle dealys. That is very true I remember going a bunch of times about 6-7 years back and people at the clubs were working hard for us and the bottle service....would move us to a better spot for us and took us the back way through the kitchen Goodfellas style throught the service elevator to move us to a better spot in teh club....And I was happy to pay them big time for it.....

I went back only a few years later and everything changed and the crowds and people at teh clubs were different...It just had a differnt vibe.....

My dad tells me stories about the old old vegas and he watched it chage a bunch too as his best freind back in the day was The head of the casino at the MGM grand I believe......from back then until now a whole lto has changed in Vegas.......

I wear a hat every time I go out! I have never been told to take it off. As I said before if it has style it's ok. Just don't walk in with your highschool baseball cap on. I wear Ed hardy n stuff like that all the time. They really don't give a shit in Vegas. It's about the coin there not some Po-dunk shmuck runnin the door being a hard ass cause he got his ass beat through childhood and is trying to make up for it now. They really don't give a shit! Just tip well and you'll be taken care of.

Its not that hats arent't ok, just not everytime at every club. Some doorman get attitudes, especially if you're a big guy. But, as said above if you have a hot girl(s) with you, anything goes....

I opened the Rhino before we sold it to them about 11 yrs again[ what a nightmare that was .....lol.....long story ] And far strip clubs still the best club by far despite the appearence of some huge supr clubs in the last 5 yrs or so..........All my hot girls in Sac work at the Rhino alot on the weekends cuase the money is great .......Many are the best girls there are mine during the week..........My club in Sac has produced Collen Shanon the 50th aniversery Playmate, Brandi Dalh top fitness model , Sandi Westgate....top internet girl , Monique Alexander porn star.....Bonita st.....porn ......and probably 30 gilrs that have been featured in playboy , penthouse , and hustleras well girls in the fitness industry I wont mention..........


In vegas , it is all about money .A hundred dollar tip to a doorman will get past most lines if you arent with a fine girl.but after that you are on your own no booth on Vip ......that will cost you more ......plus then no days you are roped in spending 1000 bucks in most vips sections which simply bs to me and I have money.......but I dont drink and give free alcohol to dumb whores....lol........The guys are right.....Vegas is slowly ruining itself like Tahoe has.......to bad to .......it used to be fun and affordable to most .......now it is just a bunch of wanna bs throwing money around........I havent been in awhile but I heard there are acouple of pools going during the day at some of the major hotels that are really happening .......I cant wait to check them out next month at the genetleman's club owner convention next month .........vegas is cool and the locals although alot are bullshiters most are pretty cool . But man the tourists are 90 % jerkoffs .......amazing what alittle alcohol, drugs, and be away from home can do to people........enjoy self ......vegas is hot and dusty so dress too much or you will be a sweat hog ,,,,,,,lol

gucci visors, lucky brand makes a few. Coach,etc.... basically no sports hats. I love Hurley hats but i doubt ill get in it, and nothing is worse than taking it off and having matted hair.

problem with the Rhino is on a friday or sat night you cant sit anywhere and you can barely walk...for the 2 past years everytime we try to go there it is letereally to busy to get a drink and or get a dance its fucked. Saphire always takes care of us and seamless was pretty good as of 6 months ago.


I totally agree with you guys about the crowds and the hustle. 10 years ago we would go to a club maybe pay a cover and there were actually places to sit down that didnt cost a grand. I would meet hundreds of people and actually talk and enojy it, seems like now even with hookups its expensive as hell and the total crowd isn/t like it was its more about beening seen spending your money seems like. I like to call it LA trash (sorry if that offends) and somewhat incorrect as they come from everywhere.

Ibad...you are right some of the pool scence are INSANE....stupid clark county fucked us up again, all the toppless pools were classified as a "club" so now no more nudity the girls have to have their nipples covered with pasites....I belive the only one that got out of it is Moorea at the Bay.

Since I have ever been going which isn't that long the pools at the big hotels were always the most fun imo......

Most clubs dress code is anything goes. Some might limit sandals, tank tops and shredded jeans.

Several years ago I was out with one of our company sales reps, and we wanted to go to the club at the Mandalay Bay. They turned him down because the shoes he was wearing. He had on a pair of I think he called them work boots. They weren't like boots more like a hiking shoe. I'm not sure how to describe it, but he had on navy slacks and sweater. The guy behind us had on old faded jeans and shoes that were kind of like a black track shoe... and he got in. That bouncer must of just not like the way the sales rep looked at him.
