O/T Jupiter and Venus

Jupiter and Venus appear as the brightest objects in the sky just below crescent moon for those of us in the US. Beautiful site with just the naked eye. Not exactly the "Age of Acquarius" because I believe Mars was involved, but still....It do make one ponder.

When you get wrapped up in the minutia of your every day taking a few seconds to gaze at the natural beauty and wonder of our existence can snap you back. Can't sit and the beach and listen to the waves, look up on a cloudless night, will often do the trick.

Yes I have been observing this heavenly spectacle for some nights now. Just awesome when you really stop and have a look at it. It is right at dusk it looks the most spectacular here for us. Just that eerie glow of the suns last light and the planets and moon shining very brilliantly. Very science fictionish looking!

I have been watching it too. Very beautiful. I think they said when the crescent moon was aligned the other night, that will not happen again until something like 2050? I am pretty sure I will be gone at that point unless I get REALLY lucky!

I saw it coming out of work today at 5:30 today. Pretty cool with Venus being the brightest and Jupiter.

every atom of every molecule of everything on earth (including you) was made in the core of a star somewhere, billions of years ago.

the exception to this of course is hydrogen and helium, which was formed directly after the big bang.

all the heavier elements were formed in heart of other stars, those whose masses were great enough went supernova, exploding their guts into space, spreading the heavier elements throughout the cosmos.

**it is known absolutely that hydrogen and helium were made after the big bang, if they werent there would have been nothing for the first stars to be made from!!!!

**speculated is the idea that elements lithium and beryllium were also created, but in small amounts
