O/T Need some help with GF's B-day

OK so she really wants a louie V bag. But theyre really expensive. She showed me one on ebay, new authentic, for around $100. But obviously that one is gone now. Ive been searching online for 2 days and her B- day is the 28th. I cant find anything right now. anyone know of any place i can look online. Im pretty strapped for cash but want to get her what she wants.

Do not buy any Italian designer bags off of Ebay majority of them are fakes. Instead of an LV bag you may want to get her a Coach bag which are great bags but considerably less then an LV.

Or what you can do is look over an LV series at an LV store and get her the wallet and then later save to get her the matching bag. However for that you should stay with the Classic as the style never changes.

Not sure if macy's carries Louie V but i got my girl a great Dooney & Bourke bag there. I did the open a credit card thing and had a coupon so it ended up being like 30% which is a good bit off a $350 bag.

I am sketchy about buying these on the internet because there are SOOOO many knockoffs and if you want a knockoff, take a day trip to nyc......there will be hundred with the street vendors.

My wife is a really big fan of bags lol. Im a firefighter and shes a RN so we make good money, but could never justify spending the money for a louie V bag. Take her to the coach store if theres one in your area. Macys carries coach among other big name bags but if your looking at coach bags go to the coach store and let her pick one out, she can even get matching flip flops.

When a girl wants LV, Coach doesn't cut it. Some of his bags are in the 600$ price range, which IMO isn't alot if you really care about the girl. I personally wont buy LV, and would go with D&G, Versace, Valentino, Prada or Gucci instead since LV is a nazi supporter, but when LV is what they want, Coach won't cut it. But i agree, definitely do not buy from Ebay, most are fakes.

Since I'm an asshole here's what I'd do in your situation...figure out how much you're willing to spend on the bag, then go to the LV store and get her a gift card for that much. Tell her if she wants it that bad she can spring for the rest.

FYI...I really wouldn't do this. I'd just buy the bag and cry for a few days about how much money I just wasted. Or tell her its her bday and xmas gift for this year. If she's a cool chick she'll understand you're broke and appreciate that you really tried.

Then set up a nice romantic dinner for you both at home, or the place of your choosing and let her be pampered for the day. Good value and a gift any woman would love! here is what you do. go through every magazine you can find a cut out words that describe how you feel about her like "love" "angel" "goddess" best friend" etc.

then you want to go buy a big frame like 20 inches by 24 or bigger if you can. ok, then you want to cut out a ton of pics of you and her together using head pics, then holding hands, then hugging, etc.

ok once you do that then you cut out pictures of stuff you want in the future. like a very nice sports car, or a big house, or beaches where you want to visit.

this will show her that you are thinking about her and your future together and the things you share and want to share together. it is one of those meaningful lovey dovey things that women love.

it probably doesnt any longer have anything to do with nazis, but it once did so i wont buy it. i wont buy any german cars either, its a personal choice. i will not stop anyone else from doing so though, it is just a personal choice of mine. i dont NEED any of those products over any competitors so its my choice not to support them. i wont take anything away from their quality and i will admit that it is all designed and crafted very well.

in looking into this more, LVMH is not a nazi supporting company, but when it was family owned it was. regardless, when a girl wants LV, nothing less than LV is going to cut it. thats like asking for an aston martin and getting a cadillac. its not the same, or wanting a 60 inch plasma hdtv, and getting a 50 inch DLP edtv.
