OMG--Kanye West Just played the race card!!

I am watching 11-Alive in Atlanta and it is showing a live telethon. Mike Meyers and Kanye West were saying a few words about the disaster! Kanye stated that George Bush hates black people!

OooooKaay! Now this is getting out of hand! Civil unrest has reached new levels. While I agree that the feds need to get off there duff and put more into the relief effort, I certainly don't think that they are neglecting anyone based on race!

I'm speechless about the whole thing! From the disaster to the anarchy in the streets!! The fact that the media is already pointing fingers and we have not even started to recover, makes me sick to my stomach!

George Bush is responsible for the Hurricane...GOSH can't believe you didn't know that. And on the relief effort they have to take back control of the city before sending in rescue workers or I guess it is ok that people are shooting at them and stealing the generators from the hospitals.

So they have stretched the budget too thin, therefore we should just let our own people fend for themselves in the face of extreme adversity? I would say that our own nation, that happens to fund the war, is more important than assisting another country establish a democracy that everyone knows will never work!

The area has been populated with rescue workers long before chaos ensued. While there has been instances of snipers taking pot shots at helicopters, I would hardly call that reason to keep ground troops from entering the city and rescuing people. Also word spread of looting and civil disobedience from the beginning and they still did not react immediately. We have the resources. We are the richest nation in the world!

And where did you get that someone is blaming bush for the hurricane?

The only thing that keeps the US economy going is the fact that Asia has invested SOO much money back into our economy, which could be pulled at a moments notice plunging the US into recession of likes it might never recover. Speaking of larger scale, what do you figure happens next? Oh and I would bet money that for the remainder of Bush's term, Kanye West is going to have a nice target on him that says "dubya's bitch!"!

I heard a person blaming Bush for what happened on CNN....the most liberal news channel out there IMO. Can't give you the exact qoute..however it in this person's eyes is his, Bush's, fault that a shit storm has caused all this devastation and that people are looting, and stealing. Yeah he's looking like a fool , Kanya has his ambitions which are shaped based on what he is seeing from the TV and I gaurantee you that after he saw hisself he probably wishes he could do it all over again but in a different way. Now what i'm about to say is tricky but very very important so listen carefully. If you study this video footage of Kanya closely you'll see he's reading straight from a script,this picture is ofcourse bigger than him and it seems the ppl to find and blame along with Kanya is the ones writing these scripts and allowing them to air. "Warning" you have to be very careful what you see and believe on TV folks, again its important to see things clearly for what they present, dont be so quick to judge things and ppl responses based on the 1st thing you see because there is always a motive behind things. Now Kanya probably feels for his ppl which is only natural and based on what he saw from the media has opened him up to being munipulated into reading a script which is just what Kanya didnt need had he known the consequences of going on the air this way would bring, but on the other hand just what this particular media group needed which is to use a face known worldwide(preferably black face) to get their message across to the world in exactly the way they want and Kanya fitted this profile so they exploited it. This is the way of life ppl, use or be used mentality. as a result this situation hurt Kanyas' reputation amongs many but on the other hand again turned up as a big Gain for the ppl who exploited it( the 1s who aired Kanya). huh, tricky stuff but once ppl understand it, it all comes together

No he isn't, look at Mike Myers shocked reaction (he hides it very well though - he is an actor after all) to Kayne's comments. If there was a script Mike would have known that Kayne was going to say it before hand, he clearly didn't.

Kayne stutters and slurs his words as well, a sign of someone who is making it up as he's going along. Also notice how it quickly the camera cuts away from Kayne and Mike, while Mike is speaking, seconds after the Kayne says "George Bush hates black people", so the producers clearly weren't expecting him to say it. He wasn't reading from a script.

HELL NO....When he made that comment the camera turned away and they cut to another celebrity. Kanye wasn't reading a script. Do you think that they would have allowed something like that? Do you think that Mike Meyers would have stood next to him knowing what garbage was about to be spewn from his mouth! Kanye's disposition showed that he was nervous as hell and most likely knew what he wanted to say!

Kanye is just another celebrity who abuses there status for pushing there political propaganda. I am sure that he believes 100% what he says, but I don't think he understood the impact that it might have! in a few months he will be kicking himself in the ass for that stupid comment!
