Pregnancy and Weight training?

My wife wants to exercise during her pregnancy and likes to weight train and do a LITTLE bit of high intensity cardio.
We talked with the Doctor and i am thinking we do VERY moderate intensity w/ the weights and LOW intensity cardio for longer duration.

Any thoughts or experiences?
 
From what I have learned the main thing is not to get the heartrate above 120. The reasoning is that now her heart is pumping blood for two people and not just one. That is a lot of strain to put on your heart. Also she can't do anything on her back because the weight of the baby may cut off one of the major veins that leads to the heart. There are so many things that can happen during a pregancy whether you are healthy or not. In my opinion giving up high intensity for 9 mths for the sake of yours and your babies health is not asking too much.
