Question for guys who carb cycle

For those of you who carbs cycle during the week or just impliment a high carb day do you adjust the other macros so that the total calories remain the same or close or do you just allow the increase in calories from the added carbs

ive seen people just add in like 300g carbs for one day to their daily "keto" style diet like once ever 7-10 days as a refeed , then I've seen where people cut the protein in half , eliminate fats and add In like 600g carbs so that the calories don't get way to high.

just wondering what others approach on this was
 
I keep it simple.

4 training days are 4 k calories.
3 off days are 2 k calories.

All days I make sure I hit my totals and get 300g protein and have a large pre and post workout meal.

Off days I cut back on carbs but don't have some limit I just eat fatty meat , more eggs. Usually end up around 100 carbs.

Works for me better than anything else I tried.
 
Most people drop protein down slightly since carbohydrates are protein sparing and they lower their fat intake so this itself offsets calorie increase slightly.
 
This was toward the end of a contest prep, calories were pretty low

3 days - 300P/110C/40F
3 days - 300P/60C/40F
1 day- 260P/250C/30F
