question for true hrt users (2nd endo appt tomm)

hey, guys, i have some questions, maybe you can help me out.

my 2nd appt with the endo is tomm, and my blood results where confirmed that my total and free test are low. doc said i should go on test replacement, and said something about the gel. i asked her for the shots instead, and told her also my wife and i are trying to conceive. she said to come in and we will talk.

all other blood test where good, but lh was low normal at 1.8 (might be 1.9) and fsh was 1.9 (might be 1.8). i have done some research and understand that test will lower sperm production, so i was wondering what many of you have done to stay fertile, while on trt. im pretty sure my sperm count would not be a problem, (i have 2 wonderful kids already) but this will be checked out just in case.

will profasi for lh stim, and gonal-f (hcg) for fsh stim keep me firtile, while i am on trt therapy? id like to be informed before going tomm. all help will be grateful.

They are really into that gel.Androgel and Testim.My insurance(cigna) paid for $600.00 a month Testim gel but denied $51.00m test cyp,go figure!!! I had to fight tooth and nail for injects from my latest endo.I have had docs in the past prescribe it no problem.Some endo's and urologists make patients come in for shots.The whole TRT thing is a long process and you have to be patient and play the game.Don't go in demanding you have the right to this and that as I have seen people advise others to do on this board.

As far as fertility and treatment,work with your doctor who is a specialist.That is the best thing you can do.Most on here have this idea that an endcrinologist with 12 plus years of schooling is cluelessYou have 20 somethings on here giving advice on pharmacology and arguing with people in the know from proper education.Work with your specialist.
