Anyone make butter out of the cream on top of their Raw Milk. I was buying my Raw Milk today and the girl at the farm said take the cream(butter fat) off top and blend it or beat with beater. You can add little salt if you want.
Figure I would not have to buy anything else to cook with. Just use the butter fat.
No, but I do get Organic Pastures raw butter since I live in California. I never knew butter could taste so great. Nothing beats unadulterated mother nature. I'd say it's definitely worth the effort to make it yourself. Oh yeah, if you cook with it you will damage the enzymes and all the other goodies that are in the fat. And it smells like death. I'd use pasteurized butter for cooking.
