RBC Hematocrit

I've blood let myself at home with blood bags when needed. It is only temporary but works , I don't get low iron or ferritin either because der always a decent level

It's crazy y'all are talking about this.

Long-time member @maldorf drained his blood at home and a week later had a heart attack. I believe @BIGKIWI or another well known member also had the same thing happen.

I have no clue if there's causation or science behind it but knowing more than one member did it with dire consequences very shortly after makes it something I wouldn't try.

You guys all tripping over hematocrit while mine has been about 60 for almost a decade.

Want to know what happens after I donate blood? It goes right back to 60.

I'll start worrying when all the people living at high altitude start dropping dead with their high hematocrits.

AAS especially test elevate my rbc and Crit significantly. I haven’t ran over 250mg of test in a long time. Even with donating blood I can’t keep my Crit and RBC in range as I’ll tank my ferritin before I get my RBC’s down far enough. It’s a tough game of cat and mouse. Forces me to take time off and lower doses.
