6 months now post bilateral quad tendon rupture

have been able to train again for 3 months .. Leg press is at a fairly decent weight for 20 reps and also doing 405 x 12 stiff legs .

Noticed the upper quad and glutes are pretty decent, not like before thogu, but around the knee is still lagging

I used to grow fast with Smith squats.. Can't do the m at new gym as the Smith is shit.

what's my options?

It is insane that you're doing the things you are doing 6 months post op; props to you

Only thing I can suggest is maybe throw in the JM bulgarian split squats, you don't have to load that exercise too much, and it's extremely painful in the higher rep range. It was one of the only things I could do with a torn apart knee a few months back, and it's deceptively effective.

The stuff legs isn't a problem, I was doing 315 after three months.

yeah I like the idea of the split squat... I'll have to hold something as even without weight it will be awkward ..and depth is an issue too.. I'm scared to go too low
