TOM PRINCE is done...he has KIDNEY problems. I heard from a very good source that he is functioning at 40%. The doc said he needs to stop NOW or he won't be around much longer...remember to get that blood work done!!!!

My prayers go out to him...

that sucks balls. as Steak said, make sure you get the blood work done guys, i'd hate to hear of anyone else's kidneys going to shit.

i heard the same thing about flex, was that true?

FLEX was at the show and I asked him how things were going. I thin he wanted to stop all the stuff because of his family and I did hear he had a few problems...and he caught them before they got worse.

Remember DON LONG and DENNIS NEWMAN??? they all had kidney problems...hell, DENNIS had cancer.

It's true that "Tom" is not going to be participating in any contests this year!, but he has not yet made the decision to hang up his trunks for good just yet!, he's got some serious issues on his plate right now that's for sure, but if anyone can make a come back it's "Tom"!!

They do blood for kidneys

My I get blood work done every 6 months mainly to check the kidneys, but they also look at the liver, cholesterol, triglicerides, etc. I have HBP and I guess most of the HBP meds aren't good for you kidneys...neither is untreated HBP. It's sort of a double edged sword. My doc is curious about all the protein I've been consuming all these years also.

I was there

and heard the news also. From the way it sounded, he is done. Basically the doctor said if he does not stop everything asap, he could die / or be on dialysis.

I have never got any blook/urine work done any my kidneys hurt dialy, I havent messed lately with any orals including viatamins, because of the lower back pain...

aobut how does it cost and does yourl local doc offer it?

From my understanding blood work is about $60.00.

No excuse not to get it done. I pass out when blood is taken and I still do it every 4-6 months. My doc knows ALL about me too so it makes it easier. I ALWAYS expect to hear bad news but, last month I had it done and all came back perfect.
