SAW PALMETTO..SORE NIPPLES?

3 weeks ago I started using 320mg SAW PALMETTO daily,,,changed NOTHING else and have very painful sore nipples. Never had much trouble with gyno even on heavy cycles so I feel this has to be the SAW PALMETTO. I stopped intake today to see if it clears up.

I can see that happening saw palmetto is suppose to be a natural alternative to finasteride and work by similar mechanism in the body. Common side of finasteride is gyno symptoms. I never got any gyno symptoms until I took it. What are you using it for. It can increase estrogen to test ratios.

There is not enough scientific evidance to support the use of SP for reducing the size of on enlarged prostate. Reported side effect such as tender brest and decline in sexual disire.

You where smart to stop taking SP.

Just and update. I stopped the SAW PALMETTO and within days the nipple soreness was gone. changed nothing but the intake of SP. Interestesing side note is proscar has same side effect 'tender breast' so maybe it was working in similar manner?

Well anything anti-DHT is an ANTI-ANDROGEN which means the potential for skewed test/estro ratios may be less favorable. SP, stinging nettles, pumkin oil, sesame oil etc. are anti-androgens.
