I always give the mods the right to pull anything deemed inappropriate. But you see heres where it's a little different for me. Mostly the guys that know the underground know me so they shoot me an email and help me at times. I know that a lot younger guys would get flamed. But if you are a part of this brotherhood then you have a right to ask for help. I just always seem to be asking for something a ltttle in the gray. But the days of me openly posting asking for a grape juice source are long over. You know when I first started I used to have the fastest turnaround because I would ship the customers order once he gave me the delivery conf and I could see there was an envelope in the system. ( I don't handle gear except my Docs HRT)I know you may find it hard to believe but not one guy ever took advantage of me in that way. In other ways yes, But you grow to know who you can trust and who you have to be a little leary of.
And anybody playing with ID better have themselves isolated in the event it really is LE emailing them.
When we work together it sure feels good because what we do does involve risk and the guys that responded took a little risk, but it will come back to them in a good way from someone else.
So much of a boards anxiety about sensitive issues is sadly generally because personal users and even sources do not adequately minimize their exposure.
It will be a little while before I can ever have anymore than associates on these boards, but I just never wanted myself or others to be in the position to have to choose to roll. I made and I mentored that you never make a mental note of anyones addy. I believed the remailers I played with operated the same way.
There are two people that can ID me one is IP and the other is someone who just recently was working his way to legitamacy as I have done.
Many of these guys could tell you the city and state I live in but thats about as close as they could get.
Now you can be like JJ crazyphuck and just roll on and maybe just maybe you roll much, much longer, That would be my hope for my brother. I am sure he's had a few more xanex lately though. LOL
I appreciate the board and the maturity of the board mods. On another board this Thread would be shot down and flamed so badly that what ever the innocent intention of the original post it would end up being some kind of childish clusterphuck.
Like I said the mods can do whatever with my post and I respect their decisions becuase just like you were trying to point out we need a differring perspective to keep us honest.
It can be done respectfully as you you have done. I am grateful for that.
One thing I alluded to was that with proper insulation free and open public discussion about all aspects of the business is a good thing becuase it gives the most members the best chance of making it through for as long as they choose.
Most of the arrests still appear to be a lack of good judgement or shear stupidity on the part of personal users and sources.
Don't send packs to your front door,
Don't use a usps mailbox
Do use a ma and pop mailbox shop with 24hr access.
Whether you use fake ID or not is really pretty much determined by whether you are doing lots of international gear.
You see if you set up a box right and let packs cool, don't respond to a phone call from the shop if in your area thats not a common practice. They never ever should call you ( although I broke my own rule and it happened while peeking into a friends box ) So if you use your real ID and leave a real phone number, then when and if they ever show up at the front door with a package you know to tell them you hadn't ordered anything and refuse possesion. Thats a very rare occurance I don't even know if it really happens. But so you get caught looking into your friends box and it has thousands of tabs that you can see the envelopes were all tampered with so you close the door and you walk out empty handed but out of a vehicle jump three LE. What do you do? You give your name and you ask to speak to an attorney. They did go on to raid my freinds house which was realitively clean but they worked on him so hard telling him i'd already rolled on him and this and that. But we had both read Rick Collins book where 80% of all people arrested say too much and we had discussed what we would do many times and so it was with great faith ( or little faith ) that he kept his mouth shut. It was his mailbox there was over ten thousand tabs in it and we never got charged his house was pretty clean and neither of us had a record. I thought I could recognize a sting and I had even spotted one of the cars involved as I watched from a store nearby and when he drove off I went to the box not realizing that there was a vehicle with darkened glass also involved. The reason they were there ( and I am the one who always says you never go to the shop if they call you and say there is something to pick up!) is that that afternoon the cops called my freind pretending to be the shop and told him the box was too full and he had to go in and clear it ) Well we knew it was the cops, and i knew what I always have said, but I wanted to be a bad ass and I was all jacked up anyhow ( and it was a lot of tabs to loose!!) so me being the good friend I am say I'll go take a peek. It was a long night and I was in the doghouse with the old lady for a while. Do you get the message. That phucking box should have never ever been opened up again by one of us. You can always call with a calling card and say you have been called out of town and didn't have time to close the box so you ask them just to return everything back to sender.
I don't know if you caught the other major weakness of mine. I got locally involved!!!! The truth was I was getting out and you know I could set up anyone I screened and trusted with IP. And I loved this bro, and we are freinds forever becuase of that night when we did almost everything right. So I was going to let him become a bulk seller for IP. Some people have accused me of using people up as if I prey on people and subject them to risk for my benefit alone. The fact was I wanted him to have alittle more for his family and I knew how to do it realitively safely. Ask anyone I ever helped get up, and you won't hear about greedy allbeef. For me all of this game has been some of the best days of my life.
To make a long story shorter. that night my picture was entered into a data base for the first time and a few months later all those closed fake boxes and all the seizures came back to the real me. God was good though, first of all it was handled in state court and secondly they said there were a ton of tabs seized over the years and how would I know I never possesed them. I also had the most expensive defense lawyer in town and everyone knows your guilty if you hire him. But he had the relationships and because I had no record the lawyer spun it the prosecuter accepted it as did the judge and I got out about as good as you could.
So you are always respectful and give your name but immediately ask to see an attorney.
You resist any of the head games cause cops don't have the authority to give you a break.
You set it up so you are never popped in possession.
You do not get prideful and cocky when you source, stay humble because it may just be the grace of God keeping you out of harms way.
Get Ricks book, realize if you are doing your first cycle and enjoying it there will probably be a few more and so get the box, mask your IP, don't be to giving of personal information to others.
As Big AL will tell, you virtually all the guys in the pen roll. But they do it through the lawyer with the prosecuter.
I love this game, it's just a game and I've played it pretty good.
