Seth Feroce: did he set a record?

Okay, so we know that Shane DiMora was the youngest pro... but he actually competed in a few shows during his string of victories to win his pro card.

Seth Feroce has never competed before 2009.

Northern Kentucky- won his class
Pittsburgh- won the overall
Nationals- IFBB pro.

Three shows. Wins the card in third show... within 6-7 months of his first show.

Is this a new record for average joe to pro?

I think he's going to be perfect competition for Flex Lewis in the 202 division if he chooses to stay there. If not, he's like 24/25 (actually his birthday was the day of Nationals), so he can grow as much as he wants. He needs more in the arms and some more back thickness/detail anyway.

Hands down my favorite new pro....easily.

He is just a normal guy that loves bodybuilding and he got what he deserved. I saw him sitting about four seats next to me in the audience at the USA this year and every single person was whispering when he got up "who the hell is that?".

I like his look and hope to see him do well in the IFBB. I have a feeling someone will give him a supplement contract shortly.

He's a good guy too. He lives 10 minutes down the way from my aunt just outside of Pittsburgh. My girlfriend and I visit my aunt often, so I sent him a message on MD. He said he'd be up for training and would show us Pittsburgh. We're about the same age. That's awfully nice of him.

The sky is the limit for this kid. He's in a different class of young guys because he's not an absolute mass monster. He won't pull a Trey Brewer and get too fat. Hopefully he'll just grow steadily and keep his head. Hany doesn't seem to have many guys go by the wayside, so things look good.

We are talking about mens bodybuilding and the least amount of total shows both national and local level that it took for him to turn pro. I think Phil Heath did it in five. Seth has a bright future ahead of him thats for sure. I think his attitude is fantastic and I can't help but admire his work ethic.

Sorry. If you are talking about mens BB here is another one for you, Joe Vu did 2 shows in 2007 and won his IFBB pro card at the Nationals this year.
