I finally discovered that I had sleep apnea 8 years ago. During my first sleep test I had 260 Apnea's in a 6 hour period.
Was lucky to be able to get a CPAP with the nasal pillow. I don't know how those who use a full face mask are able to do it. It took me an easy 3-4 months just to get used to mine.
My cpap machine starts out at a pressure of 5 and slowly builds up to 8.
I have recently come across a new OSA device that I would really like to try out as soon as I can get in to see my doctor.....
Its called The Winx® Sleep Therapy System. you can go to apnicure. com to see better for yourself. Might help those out having a hard time adjusting to the more common cumbersome devices out there.

Would losing weight cure sleep apnea?
I know I'm bad my wife wakes me up when not breathing she should put a pillow over my face instead. If she snored and snorted like me she would be sleeping outside in the shed
Just switched to my first nasal pillow, the Piliaro Q.
OMG!! I wish I did this months ago. So comfortable that I hardly feel it. Had a GREAT nights rest. Way better than anything else I have tried. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is the only mask I can stand. I still have issues getting used to it. But it's by far the least obtrusive and most comfortable. I've tried several others including the top rated full face mask. I always came back to this one. I still rarely make it through the night without taking it off in my sleep though. I'm fucked.
You guys should try the Tap Pap. Least obtrusive mask I've tried. It allows me to easily sleep on my side.

wont work for me unless they have a chin strap attachment for me since one my issues is mouth opening during sleep.
