I once had an injectable that tested out 30% underdosed.
I adjusted the oil volume to inject accordingly.
I didn't waste it but still a total fail.

Who produced it was still a complete incompetent tool or a fraud. Somebody NOT to buy from ever again anyway.

There's this brand named Nootropicsdepot whose advertising, as well as the owner's reddit commentary, has convinced me they are tip of the top in quality LOL (maybe I'm naive). Anyway they say they have tested tons and tons of brands of supplements over the years. Fitness community related: when everyone was selling "turkesterone" they said not a single one product on the market was genuine, it didn't exist, a few guys we here regard as legit still continue to sell it. Regarding brands, they say only one single company has passed every single test they have ever done: THORNE. This includes otherwise high quality brands like NOW Foods. I wish ND was sold here in the EU, they have a berberine/silymarin complex product. And Thorne is of course always the most expensive LOL.

In my experience, most companies don't actually know what they are doing. It's not purposeful, it's more often than not they don't actually understand concepts like elemental weights, purity, potency, and intentional overages. Which makes it even scarier.

What makes it even scarier is that most companies don't even understand the rules to capsule variations that are established. USP establishes a capsule variation tolerance of +/- 10 percent on 18 capsules out of 20 minumun and maximum of 2 out of 20 are allowed to be no more than +/- 25%. The average still has to be at label claim thought. Most companies forgo the average part at label claim. They solely rely on the variation threshold and accept that.

Example.

label claim is 600mg of Berberine. According to USP 18 capsules are allowed to be between weights of 540mg to 660mg. Many companies will state that as long as I am filling to 540mg, we are good to go and will still can claim 600mg.

It's super shady out there.
