One research says Dairy is good, another says dairy is bad, wtf?

I mean villagers live on drinking cow milk, eating eggs and etc.

I eat a lot dairy, about 4 glasses of milk a day and some cheese

Good, relative to what?

Bulking,....,sure!
Weight loss,....no!

As long as you can deal with the lactose, you can drink as much milk as you like. But not many people can. Whether you're bulking or cutting makes no difference as long as the milk products fit your macros. Maybe cut out the milk before shows depending on how you react to it.

Raw milk is ideal. Otherwise I would go with a grassfed and organic milk. You can buy a lactose free one if you have issues.

Fairlife also makes a fantastic one.

what're people's opinions on yogurt and cottage cheese? i'm not talking about the sugar-laden crap. I mean like Fage.

The calorie's-a-calorie crowd would tell you it's great as it's fairly high in protein and lowish in carbs and no added sugar. However, historically bodybuilding community has shun dairy as it will cause most to hold a film of water if you're lean and then there are the digestion issues that most will have to deal with. I've even heard that dairy will cause a halt to any fat-burning (can't remember why) although that sounds like nonsense.

I know for people competing it's a no-no but what about for everyone else?

I get great results cutting and bulking with cottage cheese as one of my main sources of protein. It doesn't stop fat loss at all if you're at a deficit. It's delicious, filling, and low in calories for the amount of protein you get.

Bad for allergies

I don't have problems with lactose

Half a Gallon a day here! Minimum!
Bulking or Cutting Milk does the Body Good!!!

For years I drank 3 gallons a week, it does have a great nutrional profile. BUT the past 3 weeks I took it out and my digestion and skin (kerasosis overproduction) have gotten so much better.

If you have to drink milk.

Get raw milk if possible.

Otherwise whole milk(3.25%+)

The newest research says it's good for you. So unless someone is lactose intolerant (which isn't that uncommon), it's safe to consume.

I stick with 2%. Did the Skim but actually need the Fat calories, plus its like water.
Should more than likely try Whole for the extra calories

Serious question - are there any living things besides humans that consume the milk of another species after they've been weaned?

Are there any other living things which have the ability to do so? I think if you put a bowl of milk in front of most carnivores they would be interested....

You'll find polar opposite studies and opinions. The generally consensus is that dairy is fine in moderation. However like all things, moderation is the key word.

Cats who live with humans.

Actually, cats can't process lactose. If it's not lactose free milk, then it's not good for them.

As for humans, I drink Fairlife 2%...6 grams of sugar, 13 grams of protein per cup and lactose free.
