We know that cutting calories too deeply is not good and produces muscle loss (and may not produce that much fat loss anyways). The "3,500 calorie deficit = 1 pound of fat loss" rule does not seem to apply so well when peope go to extremes.

However, how about very low calorie diets while using AAS and things such as T3/T4? How low can you go, calorie-wise, when on AAS and T3 without cycling carbs? How low did you go and what were your results?

The craziest I've gone with AAS+dieting was my one cutting cycle. I used Test Prop and Tren Ace. I was eating roughly 1,500 calories a day, no carb cycling, just very clean diet, my maintenance was slightly over 3,000 and I was doing roughly 2 hours of medium intensity cardio a day. Funny thing is I still got stronger every week, but I did not use T3/T4 which I think played a major problem because fat loss completely stopped after 4 weeks since my metabolism adjusted to the very low calories I was giving it.

Best thing really is to use that T3/T4, that way metabolism will be forced to stay high and fat loss should be consistent throughout the whole cycle.

That is exactly what I observed with many people. Fat loss completely stops after a while, because, as you guys know, the body goes into all-out self preservation mode.

I am not sure T3/T4 would fully eliminate the problem. After all, lots of people use t3/t4 while cutting and their fat loss still stops or grinds to a near halt after some time.
Or, what happens is that at the end of a long diet, you start to lose a pound of muscle for every pound of fat too. Something other than thyroid slowdown is going on but what the fu@k is it? Chances are no one knows yet

The best way to stop this from happening is to rotate calories. Meaning you keep adjusting calories on a daily basis to avoid the body getting used to a set diet all the time. So 2000 cals one day, 2500 the next, 1500 the next and so on. Just look for an average calorie intake at the end of the week. So if your calorie average is 3000 cals daily for a week then you will have high days and low days to try and get as close to your daily average as possible. This will prevent the body from getting used to the same cals ed.
