torn labrum requires you to have your arm in a sling for a month to keep the stable and allow it to heal correctly, unlike rotator cuff which you go into PT immediately and get the shoulder moving. The bad news is, there is a chance that the shoulder will freeze from being in one position for a month. Then they put you under again and break up the scar tissue and put you in a sling again. After that the PT is long and slow. Ususally 3-6 months, depending on the individual. You can move along at whatever pace you your body dictates but I wouldn't rush it the, shoulder is a bitch. you're looking at 6 months anyways before you should be in a gym doing anything that involves your shoulder and probably close to a year before you are even close to where you were before.
