Well I lost a pair of underwears yesterday after coughing....not fun lolOnce your colon adjusts to the lack of carbs for water retention you won't have the diarrhea geyser. Don't trust a fart in the beginning lol.

3.5 days completed so far. I have not farted once haha. Down 3lbs. Had water/diarrhea hose out of my ass yesterday once, but I know with the spike in fats, no fiber, no carbs and overdoing beef tallow played a part in that. Back to normal this AM.
I have to say my energy today is incredible. I usually over indulge on caffeine, which I know isnt the best lol, but today I havnt had any at all. My thought process and thinking is very smooth and clear as of last night. Feeling great so far
Ribeye steakCould you share the type of foods you're eating?
Why are you doing this diet? Surely you know that more vegetables and fruits is the most effective way to improve health.3.5 days completed so far. I have not farted once haha. Down 3lbs. Because I wanted to try it, I like to experiment with things for myself and learn about them through my experience. As I said a page or so back, I saw the very fast turn around my father made from looking terrible to looking 15 years younger, in better shape, mental and physical shape. As well as knowing some other people who have tried it for a quick gut reset, with success. Want to see what its all about for myself first hand. Why are you doing this diet? Dom said already why he’s doing it, though. Just several post back.I'm obviously not Dom but it's a fair question; for a lot of people, fruits and vegetables aren’t the magic bullet they’ve been made out to be.
The carnivore diet is the most pure elimination diet that strips things down to the essentials...highly bioavailable protein, healthy fats, and zero (literally zero and likely the only elimination diet to do that) gut irritants. For people dealing with autoimmune issues, bloating, joint pain, brain fog, or inflammation, removing fiber, lectins, oxalates, and sugar is more helpful for most people that adding in fruits and veggies.
It’s not that fruit and veg are evil, but for some people, they’re not as “universally healthy” as we’ve been told. I look at it like the ultimate elimination diet reset and if you feel good later adding some plants back in, great. I personally am carnivore probably 80% of the time but may add in some blueberries or very specific low oxalate fruits and veggies here and there...but that's about it.

I enjoy a lot of the lower oxalates fruit and veggies so it just works out. Fruit is a little easier...veggies have a lot more. I don't get neurotic about it but I do keep my oxalate consumption to 0-15mgs per day normally.Other than blueberries, what other low oxalate fruits do you like adding in?
While an interesting anecdote, I don’t think you can put much value into 2 single glucose readings…The last time i was strict keto , two months in my FBG was 98, a few weeks later I started eating carbs again then I ate everything in sight, over the course of the month I put 10lbs of fat back on and after a half lb Arbys Beef N Cheddar sandwhich, large curly fries and a coke two hours later my blood glucose was 83 at the lab.
I know your always lean what is yours usually? And a1c? My glucose was 70 answer a1c was 4.9...I was actually disappointed they have been lower thought 0 carb would have me more insulin sensitive. Insulin level was 1.1 low out of range not sure if that's good or bad.How come you had 98?? Mine is 77 , what did you do on keto that is was so high?
