I have been wanting to do a contest for a long time. Didn't really know how to go about it and with school it was a mess. I am done with the excuses and am getting to it now.
The contest I want to do is in June, and I will be competing in the Men's Physique Division. I know a lot of people probably think it is feminine, but that is my goal physique and I want to be athletic enough because my goal is to be a team trainer when I am finished with my masters program.
I am working with Alex Azarian and I will be doing my Prep with him.
I will try to update every night about my diet, training, mood or whatever.
My camera is currently broken, so I will try to get some pictures up ASAP.
Stats
Age: 21
Height: 5' 9 (girlfriend says I am not 5 '10 even though I wish I was lol)
weight: 208
Bodyfat: 14% :banghead: We all have to start some where so this is the beginning lets see what I can do with Alex!
Hope to have some people chime in every now and then. Any advice for my journey is more than welcome since this will be my first time!!
Day 1....
Had my first day of classes today so went to do that. Then right after hit the gym. I will be doing a 4 on 1 off and will be doing cardio six days a week 40 minutes a day usually. Will be breaking it up to 30 minutes in the morining right when I wake up and then 20 min HIIT post workout.
Workout
Did chest today and felt great. I had about 30 sec. in between sets 45 max.
I don't know if I can post my workout so I will contact Alex to see what I can post exactly.
After weights I did some plyometrics for 10 minutes. I don't know if anyone has seen some of the footage Jerome Ferguson has but I took some of the things he has been doing with Men's Physique competitors and incorporated that into my workout. Reminded me of my hockey training I used to do So i really liked that.
After that i did 25 minutes on the Stairmaster or Stepmill (can't think of the right name)
Have all my meals cooked for the rest of the week so excited to get this going.
