Update: LE throwing the book at me

Hey guys I figured I'd give an update since I wouldnt be here without your recommendations...

Since then, I've gotten a lawyer which was recommended to me by Rick Collins. Two warrants went out for my arrest about a week and a half ago, and today I turned myself in. My bail was set at $33,000, so I made sure to be prepared with bond money but after talking to my lawyer and bail bondsman I had hope to be released on pre release trial and not have to pay a dime. Well unfortunately it didnt work that way. The state attorney who was present this morning in the court room while I saw the judge decided it shouldnt be reduced one bit, even considering I have a CLEAN RECORD, no prior arrests or anything. Unbelievable...

So after I saw the judge, and talked to the bail bondsman who was present in the courtroom, I was told three different times I could use the phone by multiple cops their. They kept blowing it off and blowing it off, so I stood up and attempted to get their attention to get my ONE phone call. They were complete assholes, telling me to sit down and be quiet. They wouldnt even tell me why. I was treated like a fuckin criminal. I'm a senior in college, graduating in May, have a job, and no history of anything, and this is how I was treated. It blew my mind, I've always had respect for police officers and such, but that is all changed now. The justice system and law enforcement is just fucked.

Obviously they're not going to reduce my charges one bit, so I dont know whats going to happen as far as my record goes. They seem to be pretty pissed I didnt cooperate with them. I'm going to have a lot of debt from all of this, I just hope this doesnt fuck up my chances at getting a job down the road. I'm still in shock at how this all has gone down so far, I can only hope things turn around.

Obviously nothing the police found was yours, but if it's a matter of public record approximately what was in the apartment. Did your RM get charged for dealing pot?

I had a brush with LE about 15 years ago and I was put in something called Pre-Trial Intervention. No priors, good job ect. I had to do some community service, probation for 5 years and a fine. No permanent record.

See if your state has a similar program.

Good luck. And talk to your parents. Really. You need all the help you can get. The Feds are very good at this. They are smart people with unlimited funding. A very tough opponent. This is your life right here Friend.

My parents are aware, my dad is the one who posted bond. Thats the worst part about all of this, I wish I had a job to pay for this shit myself and not have to rely on my parents for help.

Unlawful possession of the prescription drug, Adderall (1/2 pill)
Failure to Affix a drug tax stamp
Possession of drug paraphernalia

Yep, they're basing the intent charge off of nothing but the amount alone.

Isnt each vial considered 10 units? Rick told me, but I cant remember exactly.

Yes, it use to be that each vial was one dosage unit but now it is considered based on each half ml. Keep in mind that if your vials were larger say 20ml then that would be 40 dosage units. This will make a difference when you get the drug tax information since they will base the amount they want you to pay based on each dosage unit you have.

Reading directly from the paperwork it says "22 vials of testosterone and 3 bottles of trenbolone, both anabolic steroids."

Failure to affix a drug tax stamp. I would presume that your vials of testosterone are ug like the trenbolone. This charge would be used to establish the need to charge you taxes on the items they obtained from you. In my state this charge is not given by law enforcement but by the state department of revenue to cover drug tax for items like finaplix pellets, etc...
