Anyone that has foam (bubbles) in the toilet while urinating needs to go get a 24 hour urine check NOW! It just might have saved my kidneys from failure and prolonged my life.

Just a foamy look

IT is a sign of protein in the urine. Can be from heavy lifting, stress, kidney damage, etc.. Not really any warning signs except on a blood test the Albumin levels might be low which would be making you hold excess water. Sometimes a high cholesterol level is a sign also. Take your blood tests to a sharp internal medicine guy or tell them to me on here and I can kind of guide you from what I have learned so far. Basically it is called proteinuria and there are various levels of excretion. A 24 hour urine test is the best thing to do and your doctor can get you the results from there.

Phil...is this for every time you piss? I get the bubbles on occasion, maybe once a day or eod, and the rest is "normal" but never thought anything about it.

It seemd like just a couple of short years ago my piss started to really foam - or at least I just started noticing it

It seems to foam quite a bit but unless we want to start posting pics to campare, I really can't say how mine compares

I'm not too worried as I've had probably at least 5 blood tests since I started noticing this.

This also seems abit different. I remember a stupid post a while back on 'bolex. This guy was crying because his piss DIDN'T foam and everyone else's did. After he started taking scads of creatine (sounded like he was already on gear) his piss started to foam

The way Prince described it was that it was really, really foamy. Not like the normal piss bubbles but almost like the head of a beer when it's poured.

Ok I figure everyones pee foams some. But my guess is if it becomes a different or increased foam than usual, thats a problem. Is that correct?

It shouldnt foam. Please get tested. A blood test will not reveal this, it hasd to be a 24 hour urine test.Look up foamy urine on the net. Good article on Prince and his problems in next months flex. His creatinine level was 6.9. 5.9 is kidney failure.
