What do you use for joint pain?

cry , bitch and complain.

I generaly try some of the pover the counter anti-inflamitories like naproxin sodium and lay off whatever is hurting.

a good joint rub works to , I use Absorbine Gel a few times a day and it works realy well. You can get it at a feed store or any place that sells horse care goods (not that wimpy absorbine jr from walgreens) the gell works good and doesn't feel like its eating your skin off nbore does it smell realy bad , more like strong mint
 
like gunsmith said dont underestimate the power of a good massage around a joint, i have my girl rub around my knees every night and it loosens them up a lot
 
Nothing used to work for me like Celebrex.
 
I always felt less joint pain after taking or in my case upping my fish oil intake. It has many benefits besides easing joint pain.

I love Cissus. I'm a weekend warrior so my cartilage and tendons take a beating between sports and lifting. I use offbrand Cissus and Animal Flex during the whole length of my sports season.

that is a good combo there. takes about 3 wks for the glucosamine to get your system good but its great stuff.
 
I use cryogel and Arnica gel and massage it into the area around the pain. I also take baths in Epson salt.
A good deep tissue massage also helps as well as does accupuncture.
We use this stuff from thailand called thai liniment not sure what is in it but it works wonders for bone/joint pain you can get that through places like Muay Thai Stuff - Thaiboxing MMA products Shorts Boxing Gloves Equipments for really cheap

True protien sells a joint support formula that has glucosamine, msm, and cissus. I've been taking glucosamine for almost a year now, the first month I did not notice much of a difference, then it started to do its thing.
 
Glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM supplement did wonders for me. I will probably try cissus sometime, too.

Last year I was MMA fighting in Hong Kong and Thailand professionally while simultaneously playing rugby on an HK team. My joints took the worst beating they ever have, and my right elbow (for whatever reason, probably from jiu-jitsu) got so fucked I almost had to stop physical activity involving it completely. I started taking the glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM supplement and it was the most significant effect I've ever felt from a supplement. Obviously, you don't really "feel" the effects of vitamins and fish oil which would be my only comparison point, but, with the g/c/MSM supplement, it was a miraculous difference for me.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the most important and simplest one. ICE! and lot's of it. Do it on your knee's after every leg workout and you'll notice a big difference.
