What would be the best way to sterilize an open vial

I want to transfer amps to a multi use my only problem is the vial and stopper i have are not already sealed and sterile. What would be the best method

The best way would be a pressure cooker which is pretty close to an autoclave.. But a pot of boiling water would probably be OK too..

It wouldn't hurt, although bleach is more thorough at sterilizing.. Alot of people are afraid of using bleach for things like this but it's not dangerous, as bleach breaks down to a solution of salt water shortly after use.. It's actually what hospitals use for sterilizing surfaces..

wow the bleach seems kinda iffy! just say i boiled in a pot of water would i leave the vial open and just let it air dry

Throw them in the garbage and buy new ones. You can buy new ones for $6, is that not worth avoiding any contamination?

you can buy new ones for 2.50-3.50 if you know where to look.

A sealed sterile vial is $1.50. Just get one.

Never leave something exposed to room air for very long. Have you ever heard of the classic microbiology experiment where you leave a petri dish exposed to normal room air for an hour, and then you incubate it to see what you captured? I've seen all kinds of funky ass repugnant bacteria growing after exposure for a limited amount of time.
