What's your favorite music when lifting?

August Burns Red
Underoath
Avenged Sevenfold
The bled
Every time I die
As I lay dying
Blessthefall

My iPod is full of stuff like that. I listen to it all the time though, not just at the gym.

Whitney Houston - I will always love you
Dolly Parton
Pavarotti
Kenny Rogers
Paris Hilton
Fred Durst

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

GTFO!!!!:headbang:
.......heavy listening.........

system
rage
velvet revolver
audioslave
danzig
lots of others

........softer listening........
pearl jam
soundgarden
shimmer
the verve

Godsmack is always my favorite but others:
Dope
Rob Zombie
Scum of the Earth (Rob Zombies old band)
Seether
Dangerous New Machine
Primer 55
Static X
Powerman 5000
Sevendust

For cardio I like the old stuff
Aerosmith
Van Halen (old)
Motley Crue
Zeppelin

Tool
Rancid
Danzig
Trapt
Linkin Park
gotta be something with some balls to get me pumped and in the right angry kinda moving heavy objects mood.

Leg day = anything hardcore. Man I hate doing legs.

When........

When I'm really getting after it I like something like.....

Agnostic Front : "Warriors"
Judge: "What It Meant" Complete Discography
Minor Threat : Complete Discography
Both of B'LAST's CDs
Etc, Etc,.....

On a lighter day something more along the lines of.......

Bad Brains "I Against I"

Song or genre...

I pretty much start every workout I do with Linkin Park - Breaking the Habit

And strangly enough... I've found I prefer harder music when I'm doing cardio as supposed to lifting... I love some good country when hitting the weights.
linkin park is always good and saliva or godsmack ...... I pick music that has songs that have alot to do with what I have went through to get where I am today...... It helps me motivate myself and thank god I'm not that person I use to be and not in that place again

I like to listen to a lot of Christian Rock:

Skillet- Hero, Awake and Alive, Monster, Whispers in the Dark
Pillar- For the Love of the Game, Frontline, Throwdown, Whatever it Takes
Disciple- Rise Up
Red- Breath into Me

There is a lesson in all of these songs

Days I go heavy

Five finger death punch
Godsmack I stand Alone

Once in a while some Marty Robbins
Elpaso

Metal, Alternative, etc.

1. Devildriver
2. Parkway Drive
3. White Chapel

To name a few...

I would have to disagree on the White Chapel. They are from the midwest though so that's cool.

Anyone ever heard of Opeth? They are my fav.

I dig a good mix of metal, rock and rap. Nothing like going from Five Finger Death Punch to Tupac between sets, haha.

as i lay dying, deftones, august burns red, it dies today, killswitch engage, atreyu, evergreen terrace, tool

Thats cool, to each his own. Opeth rocks.

PitBullFootBall...That whole PWD album is bad ass!!!! Try some devildriver, check out "not all who wonder are lost" or "end of the line"

Alot of my favorites were already mentioned.....Eminem, Rage, Audioslave, Static X, but my all time absolute favorite is Onyx!!!!!

Metallica
Rage
Liknkin park
Pantera
Rob zombie
Nickleback

I like the hard stuff when lifting, no way I could lift heavy and be jammin George Strait.

But I can listen to country and techno when I'm doin cardio, or warming up/cooling down.
